Since 1996, Jon Conner has been releasing albums and producing music professionally as an artist, producer and recording engineer. In 1998, his demo caught the ear of veteran producer D Moet (Hate Me Now- Nas) and signed with EMF Productions in 1999. After recording 75 songs and coming close to signing with several majors, Jon came back to Delaware and released 2 albums with Hellaware Records CEO Stephen Coppock and longtime collaborator J. Hollett (Heaven in Hellaware, Hell All Over). Jon released 3 mixtapes (Man on Fire, Dues Paid, Gladiator) and the buzz landed him a 2 year recording contract with local record label Go-Ya Records in 2004. Jon completed an album for the label called "Game of Life", co-producing the record with Mike Tarsia, David Ivory and Tim Hill. Despite winning the 2006 URB Magazine songwriting contest, Go-Ya didn’t release the album. Jon decided to take a break from recording and focus on production and started Big Boyz Beatz, Inc. with local businessman Bentley Charlemagne.
Jon went on to produce on records for many independent artists and the records he produced have sold over 100,000 copies independently with artists Haystak, Moonshine Bandits, J. Hollett, Blu Chip, Jae Millz, Hell Rell, Freeway, Journalist, Angel Demar, T.R.I.G. and more. At the end of 2008, Jon caught the recording bug again and started a rock/rap group called "Curiosity Killz" and began working on new albums as a solo artist. In 2009, Jon and Bentley started the BG Music Group and Jon finally released his first digital record "Man Vs Beast" and is set to release 7 more records through 2010.
